Hiatuses

Hiatus, as defined by Dictionary.com is "a break or interruption in the continuity of a work, series, action, etc." This happens to webcomickers as real life gets in the way of their hobby and can't make time for their comic. It isn't suggested unless necessary to do hiatuses, this along with sporadic updating can harm your readership, since people will be less likely to check out your comic if they know you probably won't have new work to show.
